Everyday Card (Fabulous Flowers)

I really like this card - the combination of Ruby Red and Groovy Guava - and it, like the recent posts, can be used for anything!

Stamps

  • Fabulous Flowers
Paper
  • Ruby Red
  • Ginger Blossom Designer Series Paper
  • Whisper White (or Very Vanilla)
Inks
  • Ruby Red
  • Groovy Guava
Stampin' Up! Accessories
  • Rhinestone Brads (Fire, Circle)
  • Double Stitched Groovy Guava Ribbon
  • Paper Piercing Tool (from Crafter's Toolkit)
  • Stampin' Dimensionals
Instructions
  1. From the Fabulous Flowers stampset, ink the large flower in Groovy Guava, then pick up and dag the edges in Ruby Red, then stamp on Whisper White cardstock (scrap paper).
  2. Cut out the flower.
  3. Tape to Ruby Red cardstock (scrap) and then cut out the flower again leaving a thin red border around the large flower, focal point.
  4. Pierce the center of the flower and place Orange rhinestone brad.
  5. Assemble card: Adhere layered pieces of Ginger Blossom, wrap ribbon around them, then adhere all of them to the Ruby Red cardstock (card front). Lastly, adhere the large flower. Use Stampin' Dimensionals if you want a raised look.
