Simple But Elegant Everyday Card



This is a very simple card and can be massed produced easily. Although it is simple, I still think it is elegant. There is a traditional card size and a 3x3 from Love Notes collection of cards.

Paper
  • Very Vanilla
  • Love Notes (or Sky Blue, 3x3)

Inks
  • River Rock
  • Blush Blossom
  • Sky Blue
  • Blue Bayou

Stampin' Up! Accessories
  • Scallop Punch
  • Gold Brads / Silve Brads
  • 1/16" Circle Handheld Punch
  • Stampin' Dimensionals
  • SNAIL Adhesive

Technique: Rock-n-Roll

Instructions
  1. Stamp large swirl in base ink color (River Rock in traditional card, Sky Blue and Blue Bayou in small 3x3 card).
  2. For small flowers use Rock-n-Roll technique: Stamp image in base color, Blush Blossom, then roll the edges of the stamp in the darker ink, River Rock. Then stamp on cardstock. Repeat as necessary. For small 3x3 card, Sky Blue was used as the base and Blue Bayou as the darker shade.
  3. Stamp large flowers on scrap paper using Rock-n-Roll technique and then punch out with Scallop punch.
  4. Pierce large flower with handheld punch or piercing tool.
  5. Insert brad.
  6. Adhere to cardstock using Stampin' Dimensionals.
