This is a project we will be doing, May 5th, at the Sloatsburg Library. Fee is just $5. Registration is required -- call now to reserve your spot: (845) 753-2001.

Stamps

  • Baroque Motifs
  • All Year Cheer II (retired)

Inks

  • River Rock
  • Blush Blossom

Paper

  • Ginger Blossom Designer Series Paper
  • Whisper White

Stampin' Up! Accessories

  • SNAIL Adhesive
  • Rhinestone Brads, Circle, Ice
  • Stampin' Dimensionals
  • Paper Snips (scissors)
  • Large Whisper White envelope
Non-Stampin' Up! Accessories
  • Orange Flower and Rhinestone (although flowers from the Pretties Kit could have been died and used here with matching Rhinestone Cirlcle Brad, Ice set.)

Instructions (Card)

  • Cut cardstock for standard Card Size (4.25" x 5 1/2"). Then, fold/score. Then cut 1 1/2 inches off the right side of the front of the card.
  • Cut 2 inch pieces of Ginger Blossom DSP to adhere to the back/bottom piece of cardstock.
  • On the front piece, stamp the large swirl in River Rock. Use the Rock-n-Roll technique with the small flower: Ink it in Blush Blossom and then with a rolling effect, ink the edges only in River Rock, then stamp. Stamp as many flowers as desired.
  • Stamp the greeting in River Rock. Adhere layers for greeting piece.
  • Stamp the large flowers on Whisper White scrap using the Rock-n-Roll technique again with Blush Blossom and River Rock. Cut out.
  • Pierce paper flowers with handheld punch and put Rhinestone in.
  • Adhere to front of card using Dimensionals.
  • Finish card.

Instructions (Envelope)

  • Stamp large swirl in River Rock.
  • Use the Rock-n-Roll technique with the small flower: Ink it in Blush Blossom and then with a rolling effect, ink the edges only in River Rock, then stamp. Stamp as many flowers as desired.
  • Stamp greeting in River Rock.

Project Dimensions and Details (Nugget Tin Box)

  • The Wrapper around the box is 2" x 9" of your choice of DSP.
  • The strips that make up the DSP around the top of the tin border are 12" x 5/16". You need 2 (since one will not make it all the way around).
  • The strips that make up the DSP around the bottom of the tin border are 12" x 1/2". You need 2 (since one will not make it all the way around).
  • Tin bottom and inner bottom piece are 3" x 4 3/4".
  • Each candy is covered with pieces of DSP that are 1" x 3" -- 12 candies/nuggest in all.
  • The Pretties Kit flowers can be used, but I didn't have enough for the workshop so I had to make a run to Michael's and bought the pink flowers you see here.

Instructions (Nugget Tin Box)

  • Attach one piece of the 12" x 5/16" paper (DSP) around the top rim of the tin (using SNAIL adhesive).
  • Attach another piece of the 12" x 5/16" paper (DSP) around the top rim of the tin (using SNAIL adhesive) since one piece was not long enough. Trim this piece.
  • Follow the same steps for the bottom rim of the tin (using 12" x 1/2" paper).
  • Adhere a 3" x 4 3/4" piece of paper to the bottom of the tin (inside).
  • Adhere a 3" x 4 3/4" piece of paper to the bottom of the tin (outside).
  • Wrap each of the nuggets (candy) with a 3" x 1" (12 pieces in total).
  • Wrap the 9 x 2" piece of paper around the tin and adhere.
  • Adhere the greeting, flower, rhinestone, and bunny to the "wrapper".
  • You're done :)
