Frosty the Snowman


Frosty is a retired stamp set and is still one of my favorites. I use it every year. This year I used it to make a few photo holders. This one features my beautiful daughter kissing Santa Claus!
The next 3 posts will be photo holder cards - a big request I get. So here we go....

  • Frosty stamp set (retired)
  • Merry & Bright stamp set
  • Felt Flurries (small)
  • Circle Rhinestone brad (Ice Collection)
  • Hand Held 1/16" Circle Punch
  • Dazzling Diamonds glitter
  • Bashful Blue, Only Orange, Real Red, Garden Green Stampin' Write Markers
  • Bashful Blue Taffeta Ribbon
  • Bashful Blue cardstock
  • Basic Gray cardstock
  • Whisper White cardstock
  • Stampin' Dimensionals
  • Mini Glue Dots
  • SNAIL adhesive

Other Products Used:

  • Cuttlebug with Snowflakes embossing folder

Instructions:

  1. Create standard card.
  2. Emboss front only thru the Cuttlebug using Snowflakes embossing folder.
  3. Layer the Bashful Blue cardstock on the Basic Gray cardstock.
  4. Mount photo onto Bashful Blue cardstock.
  5. Mount that whole panel to card front using dimensionals.
  6. Stamp and but the Frosty snowman and small snowman from Merry & Bright on white scrap paper. Color with markers, add glitter and cut.
  7. Create a knot around the neck of Frosty and use mini glue dots to hold it in place.
  8. Adhere to lower, right card front with dimensionals.
  9. Layer two felt snowflakes and pierce with blue rhinestone brad.
  10. Adhere using mini glue dots or Stampin' Dimensionals.
  11. You're done!
