Faux Letterpress Technique

It's that time of the week - Saturday! And that means we have a new Technique Challenge inside Stamping And Blogging.  It is the Faux Letterpress Technique!  I'm a featuring the Butterfly Basics stamp set by Stampin' Up! and the Dapper Denim and Emerald Envy new In Colors!

Card Instructions

Supplies
Inks: Basic Black, Emerald Envy, Dapper Denim
Paper: Whisper White, Basic Black
Accessories: Sparkle Textured Impressions Folder, Stampin' Dimensionals, Butterfly Punch
Stamps: Butterfly Basics

1. The card base is 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 (vertical card layout) in Basic Black.
2. Card front in Whisper White.
3. Open the Sparkle textured impressions folder and stamp the Dapper Denim and Emerald Envy ink pads several times on it!
4. Then place the card front on the inked impressions folder and press down with your hands (do not run through the Big Shot).
5. Using Basic Black ink, stamp the large ferns from Butterfly Basics stamp set.
6. Adhere to card base with SNAIL.
7. Stamp the butterflies in Emerald Envy and Dapper Denim and use the Butterfly punch.
8. Using Stampin' Dimensionals adhere to the card.
9. Stamp your greeting and mat with Black Black.
10. Add another butterfly if you'd like :D
